Santa brought this torture device for this inflexible family. We will be kicking high by August. Today I got up to 105 degrees. I walked 30 minutes on the treadmill and my toe is letting me know.

This blog is devoted to my journey to becoming a Black Belt. I will post here about my fitness and mental journeys for the next 8 months. I have been taking Tang Soo Do classes with my husband and child for almost 4 years, this year we will all test to earn our black belts in August. It's been a long and wonderful journey. I am excited about the work we still have in front of us.
Due to a foot injury I have been sidelined for the past 4 weeks. I will start out trying just to walk on the treadmill for a bit until I start a Couch-to-5K (c25k) on January 9th. This weekend will also have me learning our new form Ni Ha Chi Cho Dan. I practiced just the arm movements while I've been off my feet but now it's time to start moving.
I use Garmin products - Vivoactive, 800 and HR monitor to record data because it helps me challenge myself. I also received a GoPro so there will be footage from that as well.
